Indiana Pacers poised to take lead in NBA Central Division, Chicago Bulls not backing down…

After back to back wins against the Chicago Bulls and Portland Trailblazers, the Indiana Pacers are finally looking like a team worthy of winning the Central division. Trailing only Chicago in the standings, the Pacers seem to be finding their stride offensively after ranking last in the league in points per game. With star forward Danny Granger out with a knee injury until at least February, the Pacers have looked to some of their younger players like Lance Stephenson and Paul George to provide an offensive spark along with veteran power forward David West. At 10-9, the Pacers schedule in the coming days may provide them with an edge to gain the lead in the Central division. But Chicago isn’t going down easily. A couple days ago a YouTube video surfaced of star point guard Derrick rose running sprint’s at the Bulls practice facility. It is said that he will return to practice in the next couple weeks. That may spell trouble for the Pacers who many would have thought would be leading the division rather significantly. They better turn their game up full throttle before “THE RETURN”. Check out the video of Rose below.

  1. Wow…this is interesting! The Pacers have been doing surprisingly well these past couple of years! I’m not a Pacers fan, but I do like to rep for the hometown one time. With D Rose on his way back, well…
