Fashion student Ashley Riggitano had such a promising future as an up and coming jewelry designer. Interning for famed jewelry designer, Alex Woo, she was on the fast track to success. But something went wrong. Yesterday afternoon, Ashley leaped to her death by jumping off the George Washington Bridge. Before jumping, Ashley made sure none of her “fake” friends would show up at her funeral to gossip about her. She left a Louis Vuitton bag on the walkway of the bridge with strict instructions!
In the designer bag were pages of handwritten notes that described Riggitano’s alleged torment and that singled out the five people.“All my other ‘friends’ are in it for gossip,” she wrote. “Never there.”She also directed her rage at a man who she said mistreated her. That person was invited to the funeral, but Ashley wrote she hopes he “gets what he deserves” when he gets there. According to people close to Ashley, the gorgeous young woman had tried to commit suicide in the past. Medications like Adderall and Klonopin were also found in the designer bag.
This is such a sad story. I feel sorry for her parents, who refused to comment or give a statement on the situation. I wonder if the women on the “grudge list” had any clue about how Ashley felt about them? Was her mental state so fragile that most of the incidents were blown out of proportion? Or was she really getting bullied by these women? Either way, it is such a tragic way to go and a heavy guilt to bear for the “fake friends”, but it seems like that was the outcome Ashley wanted. Damn girl, RIP.

Damn…that sucks very sad story. You never know what’s going on inside someone’s brain. That’s why it’s so important to share kind words with those you come in contact with, especially if they look like they need it.
