No! This is horrible! Two young Connecticut boys, Ashton and Alton Perry, were picked up from daycare by their grandmother Debra Denison, 47, only to never return home. The boys, age 6 months and 2 years old, were reported missing Tuesday afternoon and an Amber Alert was sent out.
Tuesday evening the bodies of Ashton and Alton Perry were found along with their grandmother Debra in a parked car in Preston, Connecticut. Police suspect the deaths were a result of a murder-suicide.
Authorities say Debra picked up her grandsons from daycare around 2:30pm and then could not be located after numerous attempts to reach her. At about 9:30pm troopers received a report of a suspicious vehicle parker near a secluded part of Lake of Isles.
Family members told WFSB-TV that Alton had turned 2 years old that day and a birthday party was planned for him. Debra was to pick up the boys and bring them home so Alton could open his presents. The family also stated that Denison suffered from bipolar disorder and had a history of mental issues.
My heart aches for this family. I cannot imagine losing a parent and my children in such a horrible way. I pray that this family is comforted during this horrible time.
