I love this! I am such a huge Amy Winehouse fan and my readers know I love me some Beyonce. Well E! News has revealed that the “Single Ladies” hitmaker has teamed up with Andre 3000 for a duet of the late singer’s “Back to Black” for the soundtrack of the upcoming remake of The Great Gatsby. Her hubby Jay-Z will produce the track which will be released through Interscope Records.

This is Beyoncé and Andre 3000 second time working together. They first collaborated on Bey’s 2011 single, “Party.”

The Great Gaspy stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carrie Mulligan, and Tobey McGuire. The movie is set to be released this May but will have its world premiere on May 15th at the Cannes Film Festival.

  1. I like Beyonce and obviously her voice speaks for itself, but I wonder if her sound is gritty enough to do the original justice? Beyonce showed some edge in her Etta James covers, but Winehouse has a uniquely dark sound.

Speak your mind!
