Freak of nature? Perhaps. Superhuman? Well he’ll take that too. Washington Redskins star quarterback Robert Griffin III was cornered by TMZ after leaving Mr. Chows in LA and said not only is he healed, but he will be even better this upcoming season.
Robert Griffin III’s amazing rookie season ended with a horrific knee injury, but the Washington Redskins’ superhuman QB looks ready for action again — and claims he’ll be even BETTER next year.RGIII — who showed no signs of a limp last night outside of Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills — said he’s “feeling good” and brushed off the injury … reminding us the torn ACL he suffered in college was way worse. When our camera guy pumped up RGIII telling him he’d be just as good this coming season — Griffin shot back, “I’ll be better.”
Well it looks like RG3 may not be selling dreams! Dr. James Andrews who operated on Adrian Peterson and the great Bo Jackson, had this to say recently about RG3’s miraculous recovery:
I’ve been real mum on talking too much about RGIII. He wants his recovery to be fairly private, but I can tell you he’s way ahead of schedule. His recovery has been unbelievable so far.RGIII is one those superhumans. First patient I ever had like that was Bo Jackson. And recently I, of course, had Adrian Peterson, who is also superhuman. They have an unbelievable ability to recover, where as a normal human being may not be able to recover.
Wow! It’s awesome to know that Griffin had such a good prognosis. Of course much remains to be seen when the regular season starts.
